Fishing Report (Updated 4.17.2009)

Striped Bass:  Good.  Below the New Savannah River Lock and Dam Broadway Tackle in Augusta reports that the shad have started to make their annual run up from the ocean and some very large striper up to fifty or more pounds are following them.  Plugs and live bait under floats will both work.
