CAST will be holding striped bass tournaments on the Saturday following the last Friday of each month. Tournaments will be held on Lake Murray and Clark's Hill (Lake Thurmond). The purpose of the new organization will be for Christian fellowship, reaching the un-churched and providing a Christian atmosphere for striper fishing. While many churches offer men and women the opportunity to participate in a Christian bass fishing organization, this is the first striped bass organization of its kind. The first tournament will be held on Saturday, March 1 at Lake Murray. On Friday night, prior to the tournament, an organizational/club meeting will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Aiken, South Carolina. For more information contact David RichardsonĀ (803-221-6750), Tommy Richardson (803-221-6752), Rocky FulmerĀ (803-646-9711), or Ricky Dubose (803-507-4300). |
